- $1,000,000 — For a 47 year old man rear ended while stopped at a traffic light. He sustained injuries to his knee and his back and under went an arthroscopic knee surgery and two discectomies. Total time missed form work was 8 weeks.
- $990,000 — For a day worker performing work inside a single family home. Our client, a 49-year-old Queens resident suffered multiple fractures in his right hand as well as partial amputation of his right index finger tip using a table saw that did not have a protective guard.

He claimed that three months after his release in 2014, the ceiling in the shower in his apartment collapsed on him causing neck injuries requiring surgery.
- $500,000 — For a 42 year old woman who was stopped behind an Amazon delivery box truck that reversed and struck her car. She suffered injuries to her, neck and back. Plaintiff had physical therapy and injections to her neck and back.

- $400,000 — 76 year old fell out of a golf cart claiming the driver started driving before she was fully seated. She sustained an ankle injury requiring ORIF surgery and rehabilitation. Defendants claimed the driver of the gold cart merely turned on the cart and that as a result the cart moved slightly. Defendants claimed the plaintiff fell due to her preexisting seizure disorder and other neurological and balance issues following a stroke a year prior to the incident.
- $390,000 — 32 year old was a front seat passenger in a taxi that was side swiped by a truck on the driver’s side. The truck driver claimed it was a barely a fender bender, and that it was the taxi driver’s fault when he merged into the truck’s lane of traffic. She claimed injury to her shoulder and her neck and back. She had undergone arthroscopic shoulder surgery and two discectomies. Defendants claimed that the injuries to the neck and back were not caused by the fender bender.

- $225,000 — 62-year-old passenger on a MTA bus claimed bus driver closed the door on her leg causing injury to her right knee and hip requiring arthroscopic surgery to both. The incident was not reported and the driver identified through the passenger’s Metro card denied an incident occurred. At the time of the incident, the plaintiff had been out of work due to a work related accident four months prior in which she injured her right shoulder and right knee. She was prescribed a cane which she was not using on the date of the injury on the bus.

She injured her shoulder and her back and required surgical intervention. The defense claimed through a bio-mechanical expert that the impact to the van was minimal and could not have caused the claimed injuries. The further contended that the injuries pre dated the accident. The case was settled on the eve of trial.
